Microsoft May be Working on a TV and Movies App for Android and iOS Devices

In the Last October, Microsoft has announced that the Windows 10 mobile was effectively dead and also started making versions of its best Windows 10 application for Android and iOS. As then, the Microsoft has been promoted the application which is almost similar to its web browser Edge and also the Microsoft Launcher, but it is the only left out an application like TV & Movies which available on the PC, Xbox, and Windows 10 Mobile browsers.

Currently, the updated app is available on the Windows-based platforms such as the Windows 10 PC, Xbox and also Windows 10 Mobile. But those customers who want to purchase TV shows and movies directly from the Microsoft’s store will soon be able to watch all the content from their Android and Apple devices.

However, the Microsoft is creating the application as an incentive for all the people to purchase Microsoft Store content, as they will have some more ways to watch, an anonymous source in a post. Many people believe in the streaming services like Hulu or Netflix, but all content is not immediately available on those platforms. A mobile companion application might make the Microsoft’s store a more feasible option for the consumers who like to watch the content on the non-Windows phones.

Presently, there are many ways to link an Android or iPhone to your PCs, so you can easily browse across both the platforms. But the new Android & iOS TV & Movies apps would enlarge the link between computer and phone.

Recently, Microsoft has now moved away from other mobile endeavors. In October, the Microsoft said that it would no longer focus on the Windows 10 Mobile. And it also ended its download service and streaming music Groove Music. The reported step for Movies & TV indicates the company’s willingness to not only look into the mobile world but it also to get involved with iOS and Android.
